Mr. Ramakrishnan is a seasoned industry leader with a proven track record in C-suite and board roles across public company subsidiaries and private equity–backed healthcare and professional services organizations. He brings a data-driven, relationship-oriented leadership approach to driving sustainable growth, margin expansion, and enterprise value creation.

His core expertise includes executive advisory, growth strategy, P&L management, operational transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity exit execution.

Mr. Ramakrishnan currently serves as President of 8D Consulting, a healthcare consulting firm. Most recently, he held Executive Advisor and CEO roles at Knack RCM, a tech-enabled revenue cycle management services company backed by Luther King Capital Management. During his tenure, he reset the commercial strategy, strengthened the leadership team, and completed 3 tuck-in acquisitions. These initiatives resulted in 20% organic growth, a 2.5x increase in revenue, and a successful exit in October 2025.

He has also advised leading private equity firms, including American Securities and New Mountain Capital, supporting healthcare investments through due diligence and operational transformation. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer of Conifer Health Solutions, he delivered a 10% increase in new client growth and expanded EBITDA margins to 28% through targeted point solutions, offshoring strategies, and automation enabled by strategic partnerships.

Prior to Conifer, Mr. Ramakrishnan served as COO of Datavant (formerly Ciox Health), overseeing a $650 million business serving healthcare payors and providers. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Circana, R1 RCM, Aon Hewitt, Kearney, and Motorola.

Mr. Ramakrishnan’s contributions have been recognized through multiple honors, including the CEO Award at Circana and commendation for his role in the $4.9 billion Aon–Hewitt transaction. He has served on Tenet Healthcare’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and brings a governance-oriented mindset informed by disciplined operating frameworks such as Obeya, A3, and Hoshin Kanri.

He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a master’s degree in computer science from Indiana University, and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai.
